Cameron Moll and Andy Budd came up with predictions for trends in web design for the new year 2006. I think they both had very good points and bring up interesting perspectives. Now it is time for someone to come up with what’s new or anticipated for us web producers in the education field. Anything new? A biggie here I think is the use of mobile devices. In fact, while attending max 2005 a big emphasis was made on the new mobile technology pushing us to think ahead in this area. I would say that this is still new territory for most education web designers if you look at most sites out there and content for students.

OK. I’m a new convert to wordpress. So far, very nice. What?  No room for customizing themes on the free wordpress?  Oh well, so much for wanting a blog in a free evening recovering from surgery.

I have customized blogger’s templates to suit my own style but I don’t like the lack of categories in blogger.  I have to admit that wordpress has a lot of flexibility so far. Well done.
